Picture of Our Story

It all started with a little rule-breaking—the kind that makes love stories worth telling. Working at the Casino, they were not supposed to be dating—something about workplace policies, professionalism, blah blah blah. But when fate (and maybe a few stolen glances across the casino floor) steps in, rules start looking more like suggestions.

He worked in security, keeping the place safe, while she handled the vault, counting stacks of cash.

And though he might have been in charge of security, he certainly couldn't secure his heart from falling for her.

From the very start, there was a spark. She was drawn to him, and he felt the same way. Their first date was at a Chinese restaurant—because nothing sets the mood like noodles and fortune cookies predicting a future together. A few dates later, they made it official on November 6, 2020, and from that moment on, there was no looking back.

Fast forward to July 2022, and they were moving into their adorable little home. But it wasn’t just the two of them—Rocket, Yorganheim, and Tonto, their three dogs, were right there beside them, probably supervising the move. Their parrots, Boo and Thumper, added their own commentary (whether it was helpful or not is debatable). Later, their furry family grew even more with the addition of Peaches, ensuring that their house was always full of hair, laughter, and just a little bit of chaos.

Then came December 31, 2023, as they welcomed the new year hand in hand. They danced together, surrounded by loved ones, lost in the moment. And then, he dropped to one knee, catching her completely by surprise. As the world around them celebrated a new beginning, he asked for forever. There was cheering, maybe a few happy tears, and a moment of pure joy as they officially decided to spend their lives together.

Now, as they plan for their wedding, they look back on their journey—one that started with a little workplace defiance, a shared love of Chinese food, and a bond strong enough to break every rule in the book.

Because sometimes, the best love stories start with a little risk—and end with a lifetime of reward.
